to accommodate two young children on mattresses.

One of the stone cottages is suitable as a family chalet

that can sleep four people in two separate rooms.

The spacious en-suite bathrooms have 24 hour hot water.

Currently we have one family unit that sleeps

Monkey is a grass camping site that can accommodate about five tents, while Mvuu and Elly are situated on the rivers edge, and can host three and four tents respectively. Leopard also caters for four tents. The other three sites are bush camps located at the back of the lodge and can take three or four tents on each.

The campsites are situated in close proximity to the Lodge and are nestled in thick bush under a canopy of indigenous trees which provide a cool haven from the African Sun.

Facilities

Restaurant & Bar

Our thatched restaurant and bar, with its stunning deck that extends over the banks of the Zambezi River, is the perfect spot for absorbing those breathtaking sunsets whilst sipping a sundowner, dining out under a canopy of brightly lit stars whilst the evening fire and sounds of the bush fill the background, or for having your early morning coffee whilst the dramatic dawn announces the new day in true African splendour. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner on a set menu basis and the bar is open from 10.00 till 22:00.

If you are camping or on a self catering package, you are more than welcome to join us at the bar or restaurant for a meal or two if you are not in the mood for cooking. We do ask that you book these meals in advance with your accommodation, so that the kitchen can plan ahead in terms of supplies.

Laundry

The camp offers a same day return laundry service – please enquire for more details.

Cell phone reception

We are one of the few lodges who have cell phone reception – this is also boosted. WIFI and internet connectivity is provided via a modern VSAT system. The WIFI is available in designated areas and at certain times of the day.

Shop

Our lodge shop stocks fishing tackle, basic toiletries and local curios.

Swimming Pool

A refreshing swim and nap underneath the shady Leadwood trees is a sure way to relax body and mind – that is provided the elephants are not looking for a mid-day cool down too and are drinking from the pool!

Power

Generator power is provided at certain times during the day but switched off at night. Solar LED lights are situated through the lodge, camp sites and tents.
