| The Zambezi Valley is tropical with mild winters and hot summers. The dry winter period is from May to September, average temperatures in June/July are lows of 12ºC and highs of 25ºC. The hot dry period is October/November with average lows of 20ºC and highs 35ºC, with the hot rainy period being December to February. The average yearly temperature is lows of 18ºC and highs of 29ºC, and an annual average rainfall of 670mm.
